I'd never come across this stone before even as a seasoned crystal collector. There's a great shop in St Andrews where I do the bulk of my buying and they had these stones, the calligraphy ones that caught my eye. I never knew the story behind them and didn't realise their origins. They really are gorgeous pieces...if you happen to be a writer or involved with the "word"...then this is a great stone to have in your collection. Very eye catching indeed.
